Over 40 million monthly listeners on Spotify, one of the most influential voices of our time and several songs that are among the most listened to songs ever: Swae Lee is a superlative artist. Whether as a songwriter, feature guest or solo artist — what the American touches seems to go gold. As one of the most influential writers of the 2010s, Swae Lee has already worked with top-class writers such as

Travis Scott or Beyoncé worked together and at the same time pushed his career as an artist ever further to the forefront. Together with his brother Slim Jximmi, he first became internationally known with the trap duo Rae Sremmurd and songs such as “Black Beatles” before achieving great success beyond hip-hop with his solo releases. Tracks such as “Unforgettable” together with French Montana or the record-breaking song “Sunflower”, the first single ever to win a double diamond award, are already giving Swae Lee legendary status. It was only in August that the American went on a European tour with his latest album “Same Difference” and returns to Berlin in November for another concert.

Swae Lee was born in California in 1993 as Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown and began rapping with his brother as a teenager. After a few less successful years under a different name, the duo's career as Rae Sremmurd really took off in 2013. Swae Lee quickly began playing solo in addition to his rap project. In a short time, he became one of the most sought-after feature guests on the rap scene and beyond and is now considered one of the most successful artists worldwide, effortlessly merging hip-hop, R&B and pop. In November, you can meet the artist for a show in Germany as part of his Same Difference Tour Europe.
