About the event

As part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, we invite you to an international research and artistic project as part of the LAACT (Light as a Creative Tool) festival.

This year's edition focuses on the concept of worlding — worldmaking. Instead of treating the world as a ready-made space in which people, things and works appear, worlding directs attention to the relationships and processes through which reality is constantly co-created. The artistic practice here is not only for the creation of objects. It can be a way of getting to know each other, shifting perspective, and creating conditions in which it becomes possible to think together. Man is not the only point of reference.

The program of Saturday's events in the Four Domes Pavilion:

9:00 — 11:00 | Ishil Egrikavuk — Practicing Another World. Participatory performative activity in Szczytnicki Park (lawn in front of the Four Domes Pavilion)

11:30 — 13:00 | Yvonne Volkart — Plant Intelligence: Artistic Research as Transmaking

13:30 — 14:30 | Tymon Adamczewski — Reflecting on the Process. Collective reflection on the questions, meetings and shifts that arise during Worlding, with the first presentation of the developing Process Platform

14:30 — 15:00 | Closing Discussion — all participants of the project. Collective reflection on the common Worlding process

Meetings in the Pavilion of the Four Domes are held in English, admission free.
