World premiere of the biography of Mirko Breguła

“Mirek. Poet of Souls” — this is the title of the first biography of Mirek Breguła, Chorzowianin, the legendary founder and leader of the musical ensemble Universe.

The author of the book is Tomasz Cukiernik, a journalist who has written eleven books, including three biographies.

This is a thick hardcover issue of 512 pages and 236 photographs and illustrations. With a foreword by Beata Haładus, Mirka's sister.

In addition to the author, Beata Haładus, sister Mirka and Henryk Czich, co-founder and current leader of the Universe team, will also take part in the premiere. The premiere will be hosted by journalists Wojciech Skowroński from Radio Katowice and Maciej Baryła from the Impreza Station.

The author did a good job. With a clear conscience I recommend this book.

You will learn a lot about Mirko and his life.

You will probably get a tear in your eye, sometimes you will smile, and other times you will feel surprised or even angry. But first of all, you will get to know Him more closely

Not only as a musician and an artist, but also as a human being.

And that's probably why I'm glad this book came out.

Beata Haładus, sister of Mirka

I really appreciate that you are writing this book, because Mirka should be perpetuated, immortalized in every possible way. Let this be another signal that it is not allowed to pass by people with talent indifferently.

To me, this character is by all measures a beautiful character, deserving of a profound, wise book about the power of talent, the power of sensitivity, the power of what we can call beauty in man, and the various dangers that lie in wait for that beauty.
