Świeczowisko — an evening with poetry sung in Piaseczno

We invite you to the Świeczowisko in Piaseczno — a unique, atmospheric evening with sung poetry and literary song, which has been gathering lovers of atmospheric concerts in an intimate atmosphere for many years.

What is Candlestick?

Świeczowisko is a series of musical meetings organized in the House of Culture in Piaseczno since 1994. During the concert, in the light of candles, the audience listens to a literary song and poetry sung by the seven-member band Parasol Poetica.

The climate of the event

The inspiration for Świeczowiska is the atmosphere of meetings by the campfire — the warmth of light, the sharing of music and a unique, reflective aura. The repertoire includes works from the circle of sung poetry and author's song, which invite you to reflect and make music together.

This event is aimed at all those who, as the organizers say, “look for the sky for rent through blue glasses” and want to spend the evening in an atmosphere close to the tradition of a poetic song.
