Swing Club in Mazovia - concert Nowik, Eliasz Quintet

The Municipal Cultural Centre in Siedlce and the Mazowiecki Institute of Culture invite you to the third and final concert in 2026 as part of the esteemed Swing Club series in Mazovia. During the November evening on the stage of the performance hall “Podlasie” an excellent Novik, Eliasz Quintet with a unique project “CIty JAZZ” will perform.

“CIty JAZZ” is not only the title of the concert, but a thoughtful artistic project combining extraordinary talent, energy and experience of outstanding musicians from three major urban centers: Szczecin, Bydgoszcz and Poznań.

The concert program focuses on the interpretation of jazz and jazz repertoire from the second half of the 20th century. It is a tribute to legendary Polish and world figures of music — singers, instrumentalists and composers.

The concert program includes sophisticated arrangements of such hits as: “Por Favor”, “Żyj colorowo” from the repertoire of Ewa Bem, “In my magic” house of Hanna Banaszak, “In the bar” by Jerzy “Dudus” Matuszkiewicz and “Her portrait” by Włodzimierz Nahorny, “Don't Know Why” by Norah Jones, “Sir Duke” Stevie Wonder, Antonio Carlos Jobim's One Note Samba and J.J. Johnson's Coffee Pot.

Through artful interpretations, the band will take the audience on a fascinating, nostalgic journey through decades of jazz history.

Swing Club in Mazovia is a concert series organized by the Mazowiecki Institute of Culture for eleven years, in which traditional jazz, swing and modern jazz forms are presented. The City Cultural Centre in Siedlce has been a proud partner of the event continuously since 2016.
