New Year's Eve with class

The last evening of the year deserves a special setting. New Year's Eve with class is a concert full of elegance, beautiful melodies and Italian temperament — a musical encounter with opera that entertains, moves and delights invariably for generations.

The program will include famous overtures, arias, duets and orchestral fragments from the works of the greatest masters of the Italian opera scene. It will include a light and humorous overture to the Cyrillic of Seville by Gioacchino Rossini, the spectacular aria of Figaro Largo al factotum, the lyrical intermezza of Pietro Mascagni and Giacomo Puccini and the colourful Dance of the Hours from the opera by Gioconda Amilcare Ponchielli.

Excellent soloists will perform on the stage. In their performance, we will hear distinctive arias and duets, in which operatic virtuosity will meet emotion, grace and stage temperament. The singers will be accompanied by the Lublin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the Italian conductor Federico Bresciani.

There will also be melodies that have become musical symbols of Italy — 'O sole mio, Con te partirò and Volare. This is a repertoire created for New Year's Eve: glamorous, diverse and full of energy.
