Symphoetnisch

Symphoethnic is an extraordinary musical show that proves that Polish tradition can sound modern, fresh and global. It is 90 minutes full of emotions, during which folk, symphonic music, jazz, rock and contemporary arrangements create a coherent, gripping story.

More than 50 artists meet on the stage — Golec uOrchestra, symphony orchestra and outstanding virtuosos of ethnic instruments, including folk orchestra, female highlander choir, Wataha drummers, as well as musicians playing on Żywiec bagpipes and traditional flutes. The result is a unique combination of ethnic music of the Carpathian arch with symphony on a world level.

The repertoire of the show is entirely based on Polish music. It is a unique journey through a variety of sounds — from exuberant folklore, through classics and jazz, to cinematic spaces, rock energy and modern sounds. The project does not recognize genre boundaries, placing the emotions and power of the musical story at the center.

Symphoethnic is also a space for young talents developing their skills in the Fires of Artistic Creativity of the Golec Brothers Foundation and an important project promoting contemporary Polish culture.

The exceptional arrangements are made by renowned artists: Krzysztof Herdzin, Rafał Rozmus and Łukasz Pilch, who gave the project an impressive, symphonic sound.

This is a concert for all those who appreciate music at the highest level and want to experience a show that combines tradition with modernity. Symphoethnic is more than a concert — it is a musical experience that will be remembered for a long time.
