Picasso's Mermaid

A young woman discovers a mysterious drawing on the wall of her apartment. This inconspicuous find turns her life upside down.

Mary accidentally discovers the Mermaid drawn on the wall of her small apartment in Warsaw. It turns out that it was drawn by Pablo Picasso during his visit in 1948! The woman is delighted, but she does not realize that the Mermaid will turn her life on its head. Behind the wall lives Radomski, an elderly man, a retired journalist who remembers Picasso's visit. The discovery of the Mermaid does not please him at all. Things from the past come back to him. Mostly the ones he has forgotten. Thoughts return to Picasso's visit, as well as to the fate of the neighbors, who, in exchange for the received apartment, had to show the Mermaid to everyone interested.
