“SHAJNA” — a performance that remains in the memory.

Can we see a person behind every number? His emotions, suffering, dreams and history?

The Municipal Cultural Centre in Przeworsk invites you to the performance “Szajna” performed by Damian Janusz from the Mimesis 2 Theatre.

It is a moving story inspired by the life of Józef Szajna — an outstanding artist from Rzeszów, who experienced the atrocities of the Second World War and the Auschwitz concentration camp.

History becomes the starting point for reflection on humanity, freedom, memory and the strength of the human spirit. It is a story of suffering, an attempt to find oneself and an imagination that can save inner freedom even in the most inhuman conditions.
