Szczecin WAVE II

We invite you to the second edition of Szczecin WAVE — a festival with music created by artists associated with Szczecin, who consistently follow their own path and are not afraid to cross genre boundaries.

On 12 December at 19:00 on the stage of the House of Culture Słowianin will be performed:

The main partner of the event is Bosman Szczeciński.

Chango combines funk, jazz, rock, blues, improvisation and experiment. They collaborated with, among others, Apostilos Antimos, Mikołaj Trzaska, Jacek “Budynie” Szymkiewicz, Marek Kazan. So far, Chango has released two albums: “Mono vs Stereo” (BIG FLOW) and “Hidden to the Message (MYSTIC).

Black Parkour is evolutions at the edge of genres — improvisation that is not afraid of silence or noise.

They met in the natural conditions of the Szczecin caves. Each brought a different temperament and different musical roots, and from sound to sound it turned out that harmony was possible — not that learned, but that which is born of attentive listening.

On stage, they move like on a city roof: with risk, precision and instinct.

Black Parkour is music that jumps between groove and chaos, between trance and punk energy — and lands on its feet every time.

The genre that the band Alarm represents is not one-dimensional. However, post-punk, no-wave and noise-rock features come to the fore here. The whole often improvised character is complemented by samples — musical jokes related to the local identity of the band are interspersed with social commentary in the form of excerpts from statements by public figures and online finds, which illustrate the disturbing phenomena that we observe every day.
