{School of Artistic Methods} #6 — Artistic and research project

The School of Artistic Methods is a project implemented in cooperation with the Civic Forum for Contemporary Art focused on research projects in which artistic practice becomes a tool for analysis and interpretation of reality — social, cultural and political.

The School of Artistic Methods is based on work on an author's project developed throughout the duration of the program: from the initial concept to the prototype. Participants work with the support of tutors, program managers, and workshop guests. During the classes, they develop their own working methods, learn to formulate research questions, select tools and build an artistic process.

The program emphasizes experimentation, testing solutions and reflection on the work process, which is as important as its end result.

Thematic scope

During the conferences, we will work, among others, on: developing research and artistic topics,
methodologies of artistic research,
working with context and terrain,
The use of archives,
forms of presentation and exhibition,
communication and collective work,
using technology and AI,
Artistic practices,
working with biographical material.
