We invite you to a tour of the exhibition Alina Szapocznikow/Naira Baghramian in Zachęta — National Gallery of Art. The tour will be conducted with live audio description. During the tour we will see and describe the works of two artists: Alina Szapochnikov and Naira Baghramian.

Alina Szapocznikow was a Polish sculptor. Nairy Baghramian is from Iran and lives in Germany. The artists created at different times and in different places. Their art, however, has many common themes. Both artists were interested in the human body. They showed its shape, appearance and capabilities. In their works they also tackled the themes of illness, transience, the senses and personal experience of the body. We will see sculptures, drawings, graphics and photographs by Alina Szapocznikow, among others. The exhibition also features sculptures by Naira Baghramian.
