About the event

On 9 October 2026 at 17.00 in the Maria Paulina Orsetti Public Library in Chełm, a meeting with Urszula Bydlińska will take place, combined with the promotion of the poetic book “Gawędy zahorodyńskie” and the opening of the watercolor exhibition “In a drop of water...”.

The event was prepared taking into account the needs of the blind and visually impaired. As part of the activities to increase accessibility, selected works of Urszula Bydlińska will also be presented in the form of spatial prints, allowing to get to know the composition through touch.

The works will also be accompanied by an audio description, allowing people with visual disabilities to know the elements of the painting, its composition, colors and the nature of the performance.

This solution will allow the audience to experience the artist's work in different ways — through image, word and touch — and is another element of the implementation of the available cultural offer at ChBP.

In the program of the event:

17.00 — promotion of Urszula Bydlińska's poetry book “Gawędy zahorodyńskie”

— watercolor vernissage “In a drop of water...”

— mini-concert by Marek Miszczuk

📍 ChBP performance hall, 40 Partizstr.

🎟 Free admission

The exhibition will be open to visitors until November 10, 2026.

The action is implemented within the framework of the project “Library Accessible for All — implementation of the accessible culture model in CHBP”, within the project “Universal design of culture — accessibility in cultural institutions”, financed by the European Union under Action 3.3 “Systemic improvement of accessibility”, Priority III “Accessibility and services for people with disabilities” of the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 program.
