If you are a teenager and come from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus or another country... If you are looking for a place to meet, talk, meet new people and discover contemporary art — even if you don't know anything about it yet...
Come to the Center for Contemporary Art!
Spend time with others, talk, take a look at what artists are saying about the world. Perhaps you will find inspiration here to tell your story, express your emotions or share your own idea.
We invite you to a series of free workshops that will take place for 6 consecutive Mondays at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art.
During the workshop: we will create a safe and open space to be together and get to know each other
we will talk about ourselves, about our experiences and about what is important to us
we will look at contemporary art in an accessible way
we will take part in creative activities inspired by art
we will try to tell our own stories through different artistic forms
It is not necessary to have any preparation or knowledge of art - curiosity and willingness to participate are what counts. The workshop is aimed especially at people who have not had contact with cultural institutions before, but would like to see if it is a space for them.
We want to create a place where you can feel at ease, be heard and find inspiration — both for creative activities and for building relationships with others.
Classes will be led by CSW Zamek Ujazdowski educators Maria Jung Mochnacka and Agata Kedzie.
