Such is life

THIS IS LIFE is a moving story inspired by real events that takes place on the sunny coast of southern Sardinia. Efisio Mulas, a shepherd living his own way, suddenly has to face an unequal fight with an uncompromising developer. An unexpected invader wants to turn his house and land into a luxury resort. When millions of jobs and new jobs for the local community come into play, a minor conflict turns into an emotional but also comedic absurdity battle. At stake are the home, the land and the future of the next generations, as well as the right to live in harmony with one's values. At the center of this story is Francesca, the shepherd's daughter — torn between the promise of change and family relationships. It is a heartwarming and moving story about roots, courage and strength to stand up for what matters most.
