The British Library's annual encounter with strange, uncanny and chilling fiction.
Some of our finest writers and connoisseurs of the weird gather in the Autumnal gloom for a day of conversations, readings and more.
Hosted by writer and comedian Robin Ince, the day takes in a celebration of the creator of Gormenghast, Mervyn Peake; horror supremo Ramsey Campbell in conversation with Jeremy Dyson; the art of uncanny tale telling with Lucie McKnight Hardie, Oyinkan Braithwaite, Sarah Clegg and Sam Leith and the art of creating haunted audio with duo behind the Broken Veil podcast sensation, Will Maclean and Joel Morris. We end with some classic storytelling from the British Library’s Tales of the Weird series with special guest readers.
Please see below for the full day programme.
Plus bookstall and book signings through the day.
