The special presentation brings works of art from different periods into dialogue with each other. Still lifes, self-portraits and portraits, abstraction and objectivity come together just as different media: painting meets photography, sculpture meets graphics. This creates new perspectives and exciting comparisons. The curators of the various National Gallery collections take up this dialogue and present the works in pairs in conversation.
There are three dates for tandem tours in different configurations:
