Tango with the stars - a danced evening with Anna Dereszowska

If you fancy an evening after which you leave with a smile and a melody in your head — this is exactly the direction. It is a concert and a show in one that draws in from the first bars: Anna Dereszowska and the Modern Tango Group create a show together, which is given to the audience from the first song. The whole thing is completed by dancers known for “Dancing with the Stars” — thanks to them tango not only sounds beautiful, but literally “happens” before your eyes.

In the program, a journey through the different moods of tango awaits - from nostalgia and romantic warmth to a stronger, pulsating rhythm that is difficult to sit still. You will hear well-known titles in the new installments: “Libertango”, “Let's return as in the old days”, “Tango Kat”, “Nostalgias”, as well as “Por una Cabeza” (from the film “The Smell of a Woman”), “La Cumparsita” and “Tango Milonga”. It's a repertoire that triggers memories, cranks up emotions, and provides excellent entertainment.

The artists who have tango “in their blood” are responsible for the quality during the performance. Anna Dereszowska guides listeners with voice and interpretation, Urszula Borkowska creates the musical shape of the whole as a composer, pianist and arranger, and the Modern Tango Group builds a sound that is both elegant and full of temperament. In addition, the dance — performed by the best artists known from “Dancing with the Stars” — Janja Lesar and Krzysztof Hulboy.
