Greenlandic rapper invites to family concert during autumn holidays

About the event

With plenty of energy, strong beats and something at heart, Tarrak raps about identity, life in Greenland and the things that matter to him. He is one of the most prominent rappers on the Greenlandic music scene and has, among other things, played at Roskilde Festival. Take the family to a special afternoon concert with Tarrak at ALICE during the autumn holidays.

Attention: the concert takes place in the afternoon. The doors open at 2pm and the music starts at 3pm.

Children under 6 years old can attend for free. Remember hearing protection.

Tarrak is one of Greenland's best-known rappers. In his songs, he raps about who you are, where you come from and what it's like to be young in Greenland. He talks both about his own life and about things in society that he thinks are important to talk about. His music is full of energy, strong emotions and sharp words — and you can feel that Tarrak really means what he raps about. Although Tarrak raps in Greenlandic, you don't have to understand all the words to feel the music. His voice, the rhythms and the great energy make it easy to get carried away. And maybe his songs also make you think about who you yourself are and what matters to you.

Tarrak broke through with the song “Tupilak”, which became a big hit in Greenland and made him known far outside the country. Since then, he has released several albums and singles and played concerts in many places. In 2023 he became the first Greenlandic rapper at Roskilde Festival, and in 2026 he will return to the festival with a big show. Now you can experience Tarrak up close when he comes to ALICE for a family concert. Look forward to Greenlandic rap, strong beats and an artist who has something at heart.
