About the event

Join a Family Tour at Tate Britain

Each tour is different and unpacks 2-3 artworks through a multisensory experience. They can include responses to textures, shapes, colours and sounds which are expressed verbally and non-verbally. Guides often use hand gestures and activities to explain ideas and encourage children to ask questions and to be curious.

Tours are suitable for children aged 5-11 years old, last around 30 minutes and begin at 14.30.

The meeting point at Tate Britain is at the top of the Rotunda Stairs.

Tours take place during school holidays in the UK. They are delivered by volunteers and are sometimes subject to change, it is advised to call the ticket desk on the morning of your visit to confirm which tours are going ahead.
