Figurki Theatre — scissors, paper and shadows will take over the stage... and small spectators

We invite you to the October meeting as part of the Children's Theater series with undisguised curiosity — this time we are waiting for a performance unlike any other! We will meet with the actors of the Krakow Figurki Theater, which will take us into the extraordinary world of shadow theater and paper theater. The theater arose from the need to create a place where children's curiosity about the world and the need for stories meet the passion of creation. It is the world of children's imagination that is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for its creators.

In October we will see the performance “Paper, Scissors and Treasure Island”. And everything was supposed to start quite differently... from a simple meeting with the authors! Famous travelers plan to tell children about their unusual adventures and, by the way, promote the latest travel book. Banal task! After all, an innate talent for storytelling is enough, and everything should go according to plan... However, trouble begins when it turns out that the book was not printed, and the travelers' blog disappeared under mysterious circumstances. What now? How will they choose from this situation and where will their imagination take them? We'll find out during the show!

And how can you tell about a fascinating journey, incredible adventures without having a single photo? Who will believe in a meeting with scorpions, crocodiles or a great eagle, if they cannot be shown? The situation is saved by cards, scissors and the wonderful imagination of travelers and spectators.

So, during the October theater meeting, we will be participants in an incredible adventure of wandering actors and theater travelers, in which the adventure will be dominated by paper, scissors, dolls and shadows... We are already looking forward to it, and you?

Tickets included:

reduced rate (children from 2 years old) — PLN 30 per person,

normal (adults) — 35 PLN per person,

can be purchased at the ticket offices of the Camena Pool (ground floor) - from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 to 21:00 and from Saturday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 17:00 (payment by card, cash or voucher), as well as in the “Falcon” Palace one hour before the performance only in case of free seats.

Holders of the Large Family Card have the opportunity to purchase one discount ticket for an adult, caring for minor participants.

The number of seats in the audience is limited!

How to get there?

Palace “Sokół” is located in the City Park, accessible from Adam Mickiewicz Street and M. Kublińskiego Street. In the park itself, there is a ban on the movement of vehicles. Distance from the park gates to the Palace — entrance from Kublińskiego Street approx. 200 m, entrance from Mickiewicza Street approx. 150 m. Access by public transport bus to Skawina Szkoła stop (Mickiewicza Street): 203, 223, 235, A43, A53, S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8, S9, S11. Railway station, Władysława Sikorski street, distance approx. 500 m.

Where to park?

Access to the building from the city parking located at Żwirki Wigury Street. It is a public car park, with more than forty parking spaces, among which three parking spaces for OZn have been designated correctly marked, with the correct dimensions. These places are located at a considerable distance from the building. The surface of the parking lot is lined with a concrete openwork slab, making it difficult for people in wheelchairs, moving on crutches or with a cane.

Familiarize yourself with the availability of the Palace “Sokol”.
