“Animal Farm” — Po Zhorach Theatre with guest appearance in Józefosław

The Culture and Activity Center and the Cultural Center in Piaseczno invite you to a free performance “Animal Farm” based on the novel by George Orwell, prepared by the amateur group Teatr Po Horodach operating at CKiA.

Directed by Remigiusz Jankowski, the play tells the story of a community trying to create a world based on freedom and equality. Over time, however, the original ideals begin to give way to the struggle for power, privilege and influence. Orwell's timeless story becomes the starting point for a story about the mechanisms governing the group, responsibility, and the limits of compromise.

The performance is the result of the next stage of development of the After Hours Theatre — an amateur theatre group of the Centre for Culture and Activity. Under the direction of Remigiusz Jankowski, the ensemble develops an acting workshop, works on the interpretation of the text and the role, and also presents the prepared performance outside its native stage.

Performance: for adult viewers

Directed by: Remigiusz Jankowski

The performance is realized as part of the project “Stage After Hours — continuation of the development of an amateur theater group” by CKiA — financed by the Cultural Education Fund of the City of Warsaw 2026.
