After Work Theatre, operating in the Municipal House of Culture of Hałcnów invites you to the performance “Princess Angina”

to the Municipal House of Culture named after Victoria Kubisz

October 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

“Princess Angina” based on the novel by R.Topor is a performance inspired by the aesthetics of surrealism and the theater of the absurd, in which the grotesque, black humor and ambiguity of words create a disturbing and at the same time mysterious stage world. The performance takes the viewer through a space where reality mixes with sleep, and seemingly absurd situations reveal universal questions about man, his fears, desires and the need to find meaning. The play is not based on a linear plot, it is built through images, associations and symbolic situations in which the characters try to understand the reality around them. Language becomes not only a tool of communication, but also a rhythm, a game of meanings and a way of building emotions. It is a story of loss, the need for closeness and attempts to find a way — both home and to oneself.
