Dog testament

In the jubilee season of the 80th anniversary of the Wybrzeże Theatre we refer to the loudest performances in our history. The title we are working on was a loud premiere in 1961 directed by Konrad Swinarski. Its author, Ariano Suassuna, is one of the greatest Brazilian playwrights.

The testament of a dog is a tale in which a folk farce meets a parable about human nature. Underneath the comedic intrigue lies a story about a world of inequality, and good becomes a value that is hard to find. Told with tenderness, the story combines laughter with reflection, creating a theater that is at once very cheerful and deadly serious.
