In the latest performance, Maria Gładkowska will play the role of a little-known wife of Shakespeare — Anne Hathaway. Canadian writer Vern Thiessen's bittersweet text reveals the behind the scenes of the playwright's relationship with a woman who is eight years older. “The more successful you are, the less often you are at home,” says the heroine. A woman on her own has to look after the children, mourn the departed loved ones and face the longing for her husband every day. Although each of them has its secrets, they still have a great feeling.

The play begins just after Shakespeare's funeral. Anna gets her husband's will from the playwright's hated sister. She puts off reading it for a long time, because she trusts that nothing should surprise her there. She begins to remember the joint moments spent with her husband and children. Will William's last will be able to reward her lonely and devoted life?
