The soloists appear as fragile time travelers, a “broken consort” that only resonates together. In music, language and movement, they reveal buried stories — funny, painful, tender. An evening about letting go of old burdens and realizing that loneliness can only be overcome together. Walshe and Venables combine their passion for collage, voice and direct, open musical theatre. Personal experiences are woven into a lively network in which no one exists without the others. Broken ties and lost memories create a new form of community.
