The Bukovec sisters, a trio of cultural activists, create art that they can take to the countryside — to where they come from. They try to reach every Slovenian village with their cosmopolitan, feminist spectacles. To their great surprise, the village welcomes them with open arms and hearts full of life stories. And then strange things start to happen. Nearby, a certain child finds a fragment of a woman's hand on a pile of manure. Just like in the movie. Reality intrudes into the spectacle, and the Bukovec Sisters embark on a real mission. A mission against patriarchy, violence and femicide. They call their allies, neighbors, relatives, students. They put on pants. They cut them open. They're grabbing guns. They occupy space in front of churches, schools and fire stations. They grab the shovels. They dig graves. They stand in front of the houses. They're holding up banners. They occupy positions. They wave flags from the rooftops.
About the event
They will no longer be silent. We will not be silent either. The heap has finally spoken.
