The Best of Animations, a set of the best animated short films for children 3-5 years

A unique set of five animations selected from the best competition films from previous editions of the Animocje Festival. It is a meeting with a variety of animation techniques and the extraordinary world of film art, prepared for the youngest viewers and viewers.

Each of the films is about issues close to children — emotions, relationships, friendships, exploring the world and coping with everyday challenges. Short, imaginative stories encourage conversation, ask questions and explore cinematic worlds together.

Once Upon a Time in Dragonville, dir. Marika Herz, France, Switzerland 2024, 9'15”

Samson, a dragon persecuted by the other inhabitants of Dragon Town, must enter the Human Town. There he meets Simon, a little boy who helps him face all difficulties. Samson discovers a new world and, above all, a taste of friendship.



Kiko and Animals, dir. Yawen Zheng, France 2020, 7'28”

Kiko is a nightmare for all animals. He harasses them all the time, even the smallest mouse cannot escape from him! Will the animals be able to resist him and make him understand that they are like him, capable of emotion, love and deserve respect?
