The Bind Club

The workshop with a small bookbinding machine is a class full of energy and color, which will allow participants to explore the secrets of the art of making multi-component notebooks by hand. The course will teach you how to choose the right materials, such as papers, fabrics and adhesives, as well as the use of bookbinding tools, including needles, threads, bones or guillotines. The atmosphere in the class will be relaxed and friendly, however, working on the notebook itself requires concentration and patience. These will be manual activities, creative and require attention in working with small elements. Bookbinding has its own immutable rules, however, when we get to know them more closely, we will be able to start improvising and playing with the format.

The facilitator will approach each participant individually, because everyone can be different and require support at a different stage of the work. Ultimately, we want to make one notebook, however, if someone works more efficiently and faster, they can make more of them and in different formats.

The workshops will be held in Polish and English. They are intended for people over 16 years of age.
