THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER

Venue: Kraków, Klub Kwadrat

The Black Dahlia Murder is a band that brought a breath of fresh air to the world extreme scene at the beginning of the 21st century. They combined strong inspirations from the Gothenburg death metal scene, and in particular bands such as At the Gates and In Flames, with their native influences from the Morbid Angel and Malevolent Creation. Over the years, the group from Waterford, Michigan has become one of the leading representatives of the iconic Metal Blade label, where they released all their full-length albums. The anniversary of the release of “Nocturnal” twenty years ago, considered the best album in their discography, the formation will celebrate from the beginning of the year on a tour of the Old Continent, during which they will perform on January 26 in Krakow's Square.

On their latest Triple-B album, “The Ringing Bell,” Fuming Mouth sounds heavier, deeper and darker than its predecessors. This is undoubtedly due to drummer Jay Weinberg, known for his nearly ten-year career in Slipknot, who recently joined the Milford, Massachusetts team. The material was recorded in God City Studio by Kurt Ballou of Converge, who squeezed the densest juices out of this mixture of death metal, metalcore and hardcore. Fuming Mouth have already played tours with Suffocation, August Burns Red, Terror, Devil Master and The Black Dahlia Murder, so they definitely have the papers to play. Don't miss their concert at the beginning of the year in Krakow!
