The Bridge — The First Meeting

We invite you to the first meeting within the project

MOST/THE BRIDGE!

Ludwik Zamenhof Centre (19 Warszawska Street)

It will be an opportunity to acquire new tools for work, to look at the needs of the local dance community and to get to know better the people involved in the project.

Program of the meeting

10:00 — Welcome

We will start with a brief greeting and presentation of the plan of the day.

10:15 — 13:15 — Health workshop for instructors

Conducted by: dr Małgorzata Ziółkowska

During the workshop we will look at the most important issues related to the work of the instructor and team management — in physical, psychological and didactic dimensions. The meeting will be practical and will allow participants to acquire knowledge that can be used in everyday work.

13:15 — 14:30 — Lunch break

Lunch is provided by the organizers. It will also be a time for rest and the first informal conversations.

14:30 — 16:30 — Moderated discussion on the needs of the local dance community

Together we will talk about the situation of local bands, instructors and people working in the area of dance. We will consider what are the most important needs of the environment, what challenges it faces on a daily basis and what actions can support its further development. An important part of the meeting will be the exchange of experiences and perspectives of the project participants.

18:00 — Spectacular evening

In the evening we will move to the Białystok Puppet Theatre at 1 Kalinowskiego Street, where we will see two performances choreographed by Antonina Kamińska, produced by the Kielce Dance Theatre:

After the performances — dinner and integration meeting

At the end of the day we will meet at the Doll Cafe for dinner. This will be a time for casual conversations, getting to know each other closer and sharing first impressions.
