The Herbaliser Band

Jazz-Beat Moguls

Where jazz meets hip-hop and electronic.

Formed in London in the early ’90s, The Herbaliser emerged from the UK’s instrumental hip-hop scene and became closely associated with the influential Ninja Tune label. Their distinctive sound blends hard-hitting beats and turntablism with jazz and funk influences.

From Blow Your Headphones and Very Mercenary to Take London and Bring Out the Sound, their extensive catalogue spans more than 30 years.

Alongside their studio work, The Herbaliser have grown into a substantial live band, bringing their sample-heavy productions to the stage.
