The Influencer Project

From the visionary creators of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, THE INFLUENCER PROJECT — a gut-wrenching thriller about fame, obsession and the dark side of our digital lives — is inspired by real-life events.

IN THE INFLUENCER PROJECT, real-life influencer Chiara King travels to Copenhagen to make a documentary about life behind the facade as an internet star. Together with a film crew, she invites the cameras completely into her glamorous life -- without filter and without secrets.
Chiara lives by letting others follow in her life. But when one of her followers develops an obsession with her, her online world takes a terrifying turn. A stalker gets ever closer, and what began as a documentary about Chiara's life as an influencer evolves into a nightmare in which no one can feel safe anymore.
The cameras continue to roll as the line between documentation and staging slowly dissolves. Followers turn into pursuers, reality mixes with fiction, and the material that was supposed to tell Chiara's story suddenly becomes part of it.
