The Last International

New Yorker band The Last International takes over the Pump House on November 29 with rock, riffs and huge live energy

In recent years, the band has played with Guns N' Roses, KISS and Deep Purple, and now the audience can experience them up close in the Pump House.

Formed in New York by singer Delila Paz and guitarist Edgey, The Last Internationale have made their mark since their debut as a band with great live performances and a sound that draws on both classic rock, blues and modern hard rock. Their debut album, We Will Reign, was released in 2014 and was produced by Brendan O'Brien, who has previously worked with names such as Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam. On the album, Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine starred on drums, and he also toured with the band in the period following its release.

Since then, The Last Internationale have continued to build their name through tours and collaborations with some of rock's biggest profiles. Tom Morello has been closely associated with the band for several years and executive-produced the 2019 album Soul On Fire, on which Joey Castillo of Queens of the Stone Age played drums. The first single “Hard Times” went to the top of the UK iTunes bluescharts and found its way to the charts in a number of countries worldwide.

In 2023, the band released their third studio album Running for a Dream, featuring Joey Castillo and Eloy Casagrande of Sepultura. At the same time, the band has played through some of Europe's biggest festivals, including Hellfest, Rock Werchter, Mad Cool, Lollapalooza and Hyde Park, as well as supporting both Guns N' Roses and KISS.

The Last Internationale are particularly known for their live concerts, where Delila Paz's vocals and the band's heavy sound have made them a name audiences return to again and again. Now they come to the Pump House for a night of rock in full force and a band made for the stage.
