The Sky We Share - Star Stories from around the World workshop

For thousands of years, civilisations have turned to the stars for guidance.

From the Polynesians who travelled across oceans using only the stars to light their way, to ancient farmers who timed their harvests by celestial rhythms, and storytellers who filled the heavens with legends, our new book The Sky We Share explores incredible stories from each corner of the world.

Join the book's author Laura Knowles and Royal Observatory astronomer Tania de Sales Marques as they share some of the constellation myths from cultures around the world. You'll also have a chance to create your own constellations based on stories that are important to you.

This event is suitable for Members aged 6-12 years old and their parents or guardians.
