This House

This House brings together musicians from the European underground scene in a project that stems from the collaboration between G.W. Sok, known as the co-founder and voice of the legendary Dutch post-punk band The Ex, and the Copenhagen-based producer and musician Ignacio Córdoba. After the album 'Is This A House' from 2024, the collaboration has grown into a full band with drummer Søren Høi and synthesizer player Laust Moltesen.

The music fuses the poetic lyrics of G.W. Sok with the electronic universe of Córdoba, moving between rock, electronics and experimental soundscapes. Hypnotic rhythms, angular guitar figures, dense electronic textures and polyrtmic drumming create an intense and changeable expression, with the songs constantly balancing between structure and resolution.

Each musician adds its own distinctive character: Søren Høi's precise and challenging drumming, Moltesen's improvisatory approach to the synthesizer and Córdoba's experience of the noise, jazz and electronics environments merge with Sok's distinctive narrative voice. The result is music that pulls strings to both the raw directness of postpunk and the unpredictability of free improvisation.

On March 20, 2026, This House released their debut album 'Soft Rains Will Come', which further develops the group's encounter between literary narratives, experimental rock and electronic soundscapes. Experience This House live in BETA on November 26 for a concert where song, poetry, noise, rhythm and improvisation merge into a constantly moving soundscape.
