THULCANDRA - In The Light Of Darkness 2027

Thulcandra is a black metal project by Steffen Kummer, also known as the leader of Obscura's tech-death metal. The Germans have been using classic black/death metal melodic patterns for years, especially those developed on the Swedish scene in the 1990s, translating them into their own language. Last time they played in Poland alongside Sacramentum, and in March they will return to our country with a fresh EP “Black Sun Aeon”, released on September 10th.

Yoth Iria was created in 2019 at the initiative of two important figures of the Greek black metal scene: Jim Mutilator (ex-Rotting Christ, Varathron) and The Magus (ex-Rotting Christ, Necromantia, Thou Art Lord). Although only the former remains in the ranks of the project today, Yoth Iria consistently remains faithful to the raw, old-school face of Hellenistic black metal, which can be heard on the albums “As the Flame Withers” and “Blazing Inferno”. On May 8 of this year, their latest release “Gone With the Devil” was released, and it is the first album by the Greeks to be released by Metal Blade.

The evening will be opened by the German Vorg formation. Black metal in her performance is characterized by a dystopian atmosphere, which they have already managed to show on two full-length albums: “Striving Toward Oblivion” and “Beyond the Palest Star”. Recently, the band joined the stable of AOP Records, where their upcoming album will be released.
