Anyone wanting to lean into '00s neo-soul, electronic futuristic ambience, acoustic jazz and poetic lyricism can meld into the sound of Tigeroak. A sound they want to share with you — the sound of them and their friendship. Collective creation in an organic and genre-breaking term like this is a rare find.
With the vocals at the front that seem to flow directly and effortlessly from the heart, the band creates melodies and atmospheres so easily that the music often sounds soaring and organic, like dreams or memories. Tigeroak lets the audience into their story over and over again, and you get to hear about friendship, insecurity and the development through youth. They have followed each other since their first release in 2019. Inexperienced and honest they were, but as ambitious from the start as they are today.
On the road to 2026, they have received two DMA nominations and won one of them for Jazz Single of the Year with the song “Living and Living”, also the name of their 2023 debut album. They have traveled the world to play and write music. They have received stars and hearts: five hearts from Politiken and six stars from GAFFA for their live concerts, including their First Days concert at Roskilde Festival 2024. Their debut album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, and China, France, Norway and Switzerland are countries Tigeroak has featured on their tour posters.
Tigeroak cultivates presence and presence on stage. They work freely and intuitively with songwriting, letting themselves be guided only by their artistic inspirations, their friends and each other.
