SORRY! Timo Wopp simply no longer knows how to deal with the current situation. But that is exactly what he brings to the stage more fun than ever. His standups are full of razor-sharp self-irony and unconditional harshness, especially when faced with his own shortcomings. Hardly anyone else is able to exploit their own disorientation in such a mercilessly entertaining way as he does. With playful ease, the lines between aspiration and indignity are blurred. This is how “heavy food is light as a feather” (Neue Presse). YES SORRY! is a big party for everyone who has ever wanted to go all the way to the top.
The press writes: “The Berliner by choice from Oldenburg has mastered affable father-mother-child stand-up comedy as well as evil role-prose cabaret as a misogynous neo-liberal. (Neue Presse) “The agent provocateur of German cabaret.” (Süddeutsche Zeitung)
