The trio is a joint project of Ecuadorian double bass player and composer Daniel Toledo, Polish pianist and composer Aga Derlak and Polish drummer Grzegorz Pałka. Each artist makes an equal contribution to music based on interaction, improvisation and open dialogue.
The trio's music combines South American and European influences with the contemporary language of jazz. The sound of the band is based on lyrical melodies, rich harmonies and rhythmic energy, freely moving from intimate moments to open improvisation and dynamic fragments. The project reflects a shared interest in spontaneity, musical narration and the creation of an expressive, collective sound.
