TONGUEOUT!: Non-English Language Cabaret by POC

TONGUEOUT! - Join a non-English language evening of clowning by SUPER City Clowns, featuring a line-up of performers of colour! English takes the night off! Across a programme of short acts, performers use movement, sound, and play to connect with the audience. Expect panlingual acts, non-verbal performances, Gibberish, a mix of comic styles, and the kind of trouble by clowns of colour. Each act brings a different approach to the stage, with room for quiet absurdity, bold physical comedy, and spontaneous moments between performers and audience. The evening puts clowns of colour at the centre of the action, giving them space to be funny, strange, and entirely themselves. Performed without spoken English, the show welcomes audiences with any language. A gesture, a pause, or a perfectly timed disaster can tell you everything you need to know or enjoy the nonsense! Whether you already love clowning, enjoy a variety night, or are looking for something different to do with friends, come and discover a cabaret where there’s more than one way to share a laugh. This event is funded by Grand Plan.
