Topas — Silent Magic - by and with: Topas

Topas, the two-time world champion of magic, stands for innovations in the world of illusion. This time he is showing a world first: SILENT MAGIC

“Yes yes, they all say that! “No, really!

SILENT MAGIC is a novel live show concept. It combines acoustic illusions with the spectacular illusions of stage magic. Magic for eyes AND ears!

But above all, SILENT MAGIC is interactive! The show uses the “Silent Disco” multi-channel headphones to create unique magic.

Every viewer gets high-quality, polyphonic headphones to enjoy the show. The magic happens in the minds of the audience. The headphones can receive four different channels — viewers determine the style of the show over and over again!

What is happening on stage? For example?

Topaz makes objects that we all know appear and disappear in his hands: a lighter, a razor and a hair dryer, but in 3D sound, the audience hears exactly where the objects dissolve and where they reappear. They swirl around their own heads, from left to right and back again. An object finally flies through the entire room.

Topas explains how important the soundtrack and sounds are in a feature film. The same scene has a completely different effect with different music. Now viewers can choose how they want to enjoy the next trick! Topaz cuts a white rope and makes it whole again with the snap of a finger — but the audience decides whether they want to see the scene as a horror, comedy, erotic or sports event! One tap on the headphones and the performance is completely different!

Magic catches people of all ages — but the style must of course be adapted! Topaz makes a balloon as heavy as a rock and a heavy brick burst in pleasure. The audience can choose an age-appropriate performance for viewers aged 6, 13, 18 or 65... Babies, adolescents, taboo lovers and healthy seniors get their money's worth at the same time.

In which language should magic take place? Topaz shows a magical puzzle in which solid wood seems to melt away. Viewers can hear his thoughts in four different languages: German, English, Swabian or Klingon. So even aliens don't have to feel excluded!

Topas sings a song while the microphone and stand float freely through the air — everyone in the audience chooses their favorite musical genre: rock, dance, hip hop or hit music.

The magic of SILENT MAGIC takes place personally and intimately in the minds of every single spectator — but everyone celebrates the effects together!

Topaz developed the magic in SILENT MAGIC especially for this show.

A magical experience that has never existed before...

Topaz is an illusionist but his passion is comedy. That's why SILENT MAGIC is amazing, a bit crazy and great fun!
