New York. Andy Warhol's apartment, where, in addition to the artist's friends, the greats meet: Mick Jagger, John Lennon, Yves Saint Laurent, Iggy Pop. Into their world comes David Bowie, an artist who has spent his entire life trying to escape his own identity.
The meeting becomes a kind of Last Supper of the artists of the 20th century. Conversations about love, disappointments, music and art quickly turn into a story about something much more fundamental: the need to create oneself from the beginning. Bowie treats his own body like a project. Long before the era of social media and transhumanism, it shows a man who no longer wants to just “be himself.” He is followed by Iggy Pop. This is a musical performance about the need for fame and money.
“The cocaine thing happens something around 1972. The Silver Factory no longer exists. Andy's co-workers and friends are having fun that day at his house. They are waiting for a mysterious visitor who is looking for his way to immortality. None other than Andy Warhol allowed twenty-somethings to discover their identity. So it was in this case as well. History and these events are as real as possible, and any resemblance to living and dead people is not accidental.” says Piotr Sieklucki
