You travel through Warsaw every day. You get in, you get off, you change. You're passing someone. You go a few stops with someone. Sometimes you get to know someone for a long time. And sometimes the roads just diverge.
Because relationships are a bit like a tram route. They have a beginning, a common path, stops, changes of direction and a moment when each of you is already heading your way.
“Tram called Relation” is a series of artistic and social workshops inspired by Warsaw and the stories of its inhabitants. We will be looking at relationships — those that are just beginning, those that are close, complicated, changing, and those that have already come to an end.
No traffic jams. No rush. For this, with space for meeting, conversation, creativity and your own story.

The program assumes the following meetings:

• “My Line” — creation of personal collage maps related to important places and daily routes around Warsaw.

• “Przesiadka” — monotype workshops dedicated to changes and turning points in the lives of residents.

• “Loop” — activities using cyanotype; participants will work with souvenirs, photographs and traces of their memories.

• “Night Line” — a meeting combining watercolor and story, dedicated to emotions, dreams and stories related to Warsaw after dark.

• “Final Stop” — creation of a common emotional map of Warsaw and audio recordings with the stories of the participants, which will become part of the intimate show and exhibition summarizing the project.

The tram called a relationship is an initiative selected as part of the Locality (from) New project, implemented by the Śródmieście Culture Center as part of the program of the National Culture Center Dom Kultury + Local Initiatives. Co-financed from the funds of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage as part of the program of the National Cultural Center Dom Kultury+ Edition 2026.

The focus is on relationships — their beginnings, development, closeness, changes and breakups. The starting point is trams, urban routes and situations that we know well from everyday life: passing each other, meetings, a common road, stops and a change of direction.
