Three short films in Bio Benjamin

The film is about the couple Isabella and Markus, who, on their first summer vacation together at Isabella's family's cottage, struggle with the challenge that Markus has a serious mental illness he hasn't told Isabella about. In addition to the very skinless and embodied main narrative, throughout the film we also hear the thoughts of the protagonist Markus, which are illustrated by various dream sequences and visual ideas - such as a dance sequence and animation.

Standing with a little new life in their hands is also for many people their first real encounter with death and the fear of losing. When Jakob becomes a father, he has such a violent breakdown of anxiety that it threatens the small new family. He will have to investigate why and seeks out his own father.

After a suicide attempt, Tobias is admitted to a closed psychiatric ward, where he finds an unexpected calm among patients and staff. When his daughter visits him, a faint hope for the future is awakened. But since he is discharged before he feels ready, he makes every effort to stay behind the locked doors.
