Trentemøller mesmerizes VEGA in cinematic sound

Over the past two decades, the Copenhagen-based composer, producer and musician Anders Trentemøller has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music.

With over 500 concerts globally and a number of critically acclaimed releases, he mesmerizes audiences with his cinematic sound, strong melodies and genre-crossing approach, merging post-rock, electronica, shoegaze and dark wave.

His music is characterised by an atmospheric depth and a melodic focus, where contrasts between light and dark, analogue and digital create both intimate and expansive expression. Since his debut album The Last Resort (2006), he has continuously developed his sound universe, gaining international recognition as well as a dedicated fan base.

Live music takes on an extra dimension, where studio compositions turn into dynamic and organic experiences. Together with Emma Acs, Silas Tinglef, Brian Batz and Jacob Haubjerg, trentemøller creates concerts where visual elements and strong energy elevate the overall experience.

He is additionally an in-demand remixer and has worked with names such as The Cure, David Lynch, Karen O, Soft Moon, The Dandy Warhols, Depeche Mode, Franz Ferdinand, A Place To Bury Strangers, Tricky, Pet Shop Boys, The Knife, UNKLE, M83 and Royksopp among many more.

Trentemøller continues to challenge the framework of contemporary music, delivering an intense concert for both new and loyal listeners at Store VEGA on April 22.
