Trinix, who with millions of followers on Spotify and TikTok is one of France's biggest electronic names right now, will give a concert at the Pump House on November 21 with the tracks from their latest album “Origin”
France has a proud tradition when it comes to electronic music -- just think of Daft Punk, Air, Justice and David Guetta. A newer name poised to take over the depeche is the duo Trinix, which, with currently 7.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 6.6 million followers on TikTok, already has a huge international audience.
Trinix consists of the two producers and dj's Josh Chergui and Lois Serre, both from Lyon. Even as children, music was their great interest, which is why they learned to play the piano, drums and guitar, among other things. They also both started early on creating their own tracks on their teen rooms, and in 2012 they formed Trinix.
Chergui and Serre themselves cite Stromae, Marvin Gaye, Berlioz and Hans Zimmer as sources of inspiration, and that makes sense when you let yourself be enveloped by their warm and evocative productions that send thoughts in the direction of both the Caribbean, Ibiza and the nightclubs of Paris.
In recent years, Trinx has really reached a huge global audience, including through collaborations and remixes by names such as Fergie, Akon, Lost Frequencies, Steve Aoki and Armin van Buuren. Their biggest hits “Vaitimbora” (2025) and “She Said (Big Jet Plane)” have both been streamed over 100 million times on Spotify.
Trinix has released four studio albums, the most recent of which, “Origin”, was released in 2025 and was named one of the best albums of the year by American NPR. The pair have also toured internationally and performed at major festivals such as Tomorrowland and Garorock.
In short, the shape curve is strongly upward, and when Trinix gives its first show at home on November 21, it is a unique chance to experience one of electronic music's great future hopes in a relatively intimate setting, while it is still possible.
