The world of the velvety sound of four trombones is a space for music of all eras. It is quite unique to be able to hear these wonderful instruments acoustically in the repertoire from the very beginnings of professional European instrumental music, i.e. the 16th century when it was written for “instrument choirs”. The world of four trombones could not miss Johann Sebastian Bach and his extraordinary work recognized as monumental in European music culture - Kunst der fuge BWV 1080 (The Art of Fugue). However, there will also be melodies that we know very well, such as the waltz of Wojciech Kilar from the film “Leprosy” or “Hungarian dances” by Johannes Brahms.

TrombQuartet is composed of musicians associated with renowned Poznań music institutions: the Academy of Music, the Poznań Philharmonic and the Wielki Theatre. The repertoire of the Ensemble includes masterpieces of classical music, but also works that introduce listeners to the atmosphere of Latin American elegance, as well as works of film and jazz music. TrombQuartet is a band that has won recognition at prestigious international festivals.

A quartet that proves that this instrument can surprise with its versatility and depth of sound. Their skills and passion for music make every concert an unforgettable experience that goes to both serious music connoisseurs and people looking for something new and unobvious.
