Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

A small town in an American province. Several months have passed since the murder of the daughter of Mildred Hayes (Frances McDormand), and the local police still have not come to the trail of the perpetrator. A determined woman decides to take a bold step: she rents three billboards on the road leading to the town and paints on them a provocative message addressed to the local community's respected police chief, Sheriff William Willoughby (Woody Harrelson). When sheriff's deputy, Constable Dixon (Sam Rockwell), an unbalanced, hot-tempered sissy accused of a penchant for violence, comes into action, a clash between Mildred Hayes and local law enforcement turns into open warfare.
