Three Feathers

The play “Three Feathers” directed by Daria Mopiec combines a fairytale plot with spectacular effects, creating a magical story about the hero's journey. It's a story of looking inside yourself, in which the Fool discovers that his strength may be what others thought were weaknesses

“Three Feathers” is a magical story about the journey of a hero who discovers that his superpowers are completely ordinary, and his weaknesses become his greatest strength. The art of Susanna Bojda based on the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm not only takes us to the land of fantasy, but above all takes up very important topics such as the desire to be oneself and the need for authenticity.

“Three Feathers” is a box story, led by the Narrator, an extraordinarily tall character, from whose interior heroes emerge (and even give birth) and subsequent magical places and objects. We enter a world of fantasy, we get to know the Royal, the frog and the story of a certain crown, but the truth we discover is very universal.

In a fairytale plot combined with spectacular effects, we see that each of us can be whoever we want, and happiness is not always about winning the royal crown.

Beata Kośmider — Instead of being “the best”, be yourself

“Three Feathers” is another performance that strengthens children's faith in themselves, framed by captivating scenography and rich and colorful video projections.

Przemysław Gulda — Most of the performance takes place in a live set, in which hit, brilliantly sung songs play an important role.

A fairy tale based on traditional motives: there is a king, there are three sons, competing for the throne, there are magical phenomena and talking animals. But the message is very perverse and even revolutionary.
